Top tips before you get a dog
The thought of getting a puppy is so exciting.
Trust me, I know- I’ve been there. From the moment that I went to see Clover to the moment she came home to me, I counted down. Weeks, days, hours, minutes. I’ve never been so excited for anything in my life. Then she was home, and she turned my whole world upside down both in good ways and bad ways.
Now I count the weeks, days, hours and minutes until I can have a break. Not a break from Clover as such, but a break from all the dog ownership stuff that comes with it… the early mornings, the walks etc. I hadn’t properly considered every aspect of dog ownership fully- and I should have.
So, if you’re thinking of getting a dog, or you are getting one soon, please take the time to read the below posts- they may prove useful. (Or they may not, who knows- I’m just trying to help).
